Bronze x2. One unforgettable night.
Last week, the Metropole team gathered with friends, partners, and peers from across the workspace industry for an evening hosted by Workaround at 7A – Conference & Office at Posthuset in Stockholm.
By the end of the night, our flagship location Metropole Gamestreet walked away with two bronze awards:
Coworking Space of the Year
Newcomer of the Year
A moment we are incredibly proud of — and grateful for.

Built Together With Our Community
Awards may carry a company’s name, but they are never created by a company alone.
Metropole is built together with the people who fill the space every day — our members, partners, collaborators, and the wider creative community that makes the ecosystem what it is.

More Than a Coworking Space
Interestingly, being nominated for a coworking award was slightly unexpected for us.
That’s because Metropole has never fully seen itself as a traditional coworking space.
Yes — there are offices.
Yes — companies work here.
But the core idea has always been something broader: a creative media house where companies, creators, and studios work side by side.
A place where production studios, content spaces, gaming environments, events, and offices all live under the same roof.
In that sense, calling Metropole a coworking space is a bit like calling a Ferrari a car.
Technically correct — but it doesn’t quite capture the full picture.
A Growing Ecosystem
What began as an experimental creative hub has gradually evolved into something larger.
Today, Metropole is a growing ecosystem where startups, gaming companies, media teams, creators, and entrepreneurs connect through shared spaces, collaborations, and community.
Winning two bronze placements in categories traditionally dominated by classic coworking concepts signals that something slightly different is being recognized.
And that’s encouraging.
What Comes Next
Awards are great milestones, but they are not the destination.
Metropole continues to evolve — expanding spaces, strengthening partnerships, and building an environment where creativity and business grow together.
This is just another chapter in the story.
