Preferred Start & Duration 2026:
Our preferred start dates are January / February or March / April, with internships running for either 3 or 6 months.
That said — we’re flexible. The exact timing can be adapted to fit your schedule.
Onsite Expectation
We’re flexible with remote work — however, all new joiners are expected to be onsite full-time during their first month to onboard properly and integrate with the team.
After that, interns are expected to be onsite 2–3 days/week, depending on ongoing projects.
Role Description
We’re looking for a curious, analytical, and experimental SEO / GEO Hacker Intern to help Metropole — and our partners — become more discoverable locally and globally.
You’ll work at the intersection of search, location-based visibility, content optimization, and growth. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys testing ideas, learning fast, and making an impact through data-driven decisions.
What You’ll Do
SEO & GEO Strategy
Research and develop strategies to improve organic and local search visibility across Metropole and partner brands.
On-Page Optimization
Refine web content, meta info, and page structure. Collaborate with designers and marketers to implement SEO best practices across tools and formats.
Content & Search Experiments
Create and test new content (articles, landing pages, FAQs, etc.) to improve discoverability and engagement.
Technical & Local SEO Support
Assist with SEO audits, Google Business Profiles, and local listing optimization. Ensure consistent NAP data and local signals.
